Jobs that are displayed on uWorkin supported Talent Communities can appear from three different sources:
- jobs posted directly to the Talent Community by member employers
- jobs added via the uWorkin job feed
- jobs added via linked Talent Communities.
The application process varies depending on which job source the job was posted from.
Applying for jobs posted directly to the Talent Community – If the job has been posted directly to the Talent Community by a member employer and the apply button does not link to a 3rd party URL, you will be required to:
- register or sign in to the Talent Community
- add your phone number
- add your AirCV or upload a resume document
- enter the details of your cover letter or upload a cover letter document.
- If applicable, upload the additional requested documents from you portfolio or new documents. Newly-uploaded documents will be added to your document portfolio automatically
Applying for jobs from the uWorkin job feed – When you click on the Apply button you will need to register or sign in to the Talent Community. You then you will be redirected to the source of the job. This will be 3rd party URL, such as a business’s careers page, a business’s applicant tracking system or a job board.
Applying for jobs from a linked Talent Community – If the job has been shared from another uWorkin Talent Community, the Apply button will link you to the Talent Community the job was originally posted on. You will be required to sign in to that Talent Community to complete your application.
Note: Once you have registered on one Talent Community platform, you can use the same account to sign in to any other uWorkin powered Talent Community.
Fit Score:
Some talent communities show an AirCV fit score that shows a weighted score of the degree to which an AirCV matches the job description. It uses factors such as skills, job titles, education, etc. to calculate the score. The score ranges from 0 to 100 , where a higher score means a better match.
Skills Insight:
Some talent communities show Skills Insight in job details that match the job seeker's AirCV with the job description. It shows the Skills Match (Skills required for the job and available in the AirCV) and the Skills Gap (Skills required for the job but missing in the AirCV). For guest users, Skills Required is shown in some talent communities in the job details page. It lists all the skills required to excel in the job.
