To edit your AirCV you must first deactivate it. Click the “Deactivate My AirCV” button.
Once you have uploaded a resume, document you can edit, remove or add skills and experience where necessary. Check through the document and edit these sections:
- Your location
- Your long-story-short introduction
- Your Career Overview
- Skills and Capabilities listed
- Your Experience with individual employers
- Your Education, Training and Qualifications.
When you are editing your AirCV, make sure the following fields are accurate:
- Location – ensure the location reflects where you are seeking work
- Job Title / Position – the resume upload function may have mis-read your job title – make sure it is easy to find e.g. “Graphic Designer” instead of “Design Ninja”
- Employer – use the business name to increase your chances of being found. E.g. “ANZ Bank” instead of “ANZ Business Banking”
- Education – Make sure your Qualifications are correct and easy to find e.g. “Bachelor of Business” instead of “Business degree”.
DON’T FORGET to activate your AirCV after you have finished editing, otherwise employers can not match you to their jobs. Click the “activate My AirCV” button.
