- Click on the “Post a Job” icon on the front page or in the top navigation section of the Talent Community home page.
- If the Talent Community you are using requires payment, you will either directed to select a plan that suits your employment requirements. If the Talent Community you are using does not require payment, you will be directed to the register/sign in page.
- Complete the post a job form. Posting a job has two steps; entering the Job Details, followed by Previewing the Job Posting.
Note: We recommend using Google Chrome as your browser.
Job Details:
Job Title: This is the title that will be displayed in the summary of the job shown on job search result page and at the top of the job details page. (Mandatory)
Company Organisation Name: This is the name that will be displayed in the summary of the job shown on the job search results page and on the job details page. (Mandatory)
Industry: This field enables job seekers to find your job based on an Industry search and is displayed in the summary of the job shown on job search result page and at the top of the job details page. (Not mandatory)
Location: This field enables job seekers to find your job based on a location search. The location list can vary depending on which state, region or location the Talent Community is based. (Mandatory)
Job Application URL
This enables the Apply button on the job posting to direct job seekers to an external URL to apply, such as the job posting on a careers site. (Not mandatory)
Application Email To Address:
This email address will receive an email each time a job seeker applies to the job posting. (Mandatory)
Advertise this job for how long?
This allows you to manage how long the job posting is active on the Talent Community. You will receive an email once your job has expired. (Not mandatory)
Note: If no selection is made the default time is 30 days.
Note: For golden subscribers, the employer has the option to select "Indefinite". Selecting this option will keep the job posted for at least 2 years.
Note: Inactive/Expired jobs can be reposted via the Employer Dashboard.
Logo:
The logo will be displayed in the summary of the job shown on job search result page and at the top of the job details page. (Not mandatory)
Salary details
Some talent communities allow employers to post pay details of the job. Please reach out to uWorkin team to enable this feature for you.
This section contains the pay details of the job. They are optional fields. The pay details will appear in job search results page and in job details page.
Pay details include:
- Pay Type (Hourly, Monthly etc.)
- Pay Range (AUD): Min and max pay.
- Additional Compensation (Super, Bonus etc.)
- Show in Public? You can choose to hide pay details from job seekers but store in the database for your viewing and tracking.
The Job Description
This section has a text editor that enables you to add the details about your job. You can use the Formats tab to add in headings. (Mandatory)
Note: Links are not enabled in the job description.
Additional fields
Opportunity Type: If available in the Talent Community platform you are using, there may also be a drop-down field that allows you to categorise your job posting to a particular Opportunity Type, or Job Category. (Not mandatory)
Note: One or more Opportunity Type or Job Category fields can be selected.
Additional documents
If available in the Talent Community platform you are using, there may also be a drop-down field that allows you to request additional documents from job seekers when applying for jobs. You can view these documents when you view job applications. (Not mandatory)
One or more document type can be selected.
Job Screening Questions
Some talent communities support job screening questions. They are designed by talent community admins. If you see this field, you can select a form from the drop down. Job seekers have to respond the job screening questions before submitting their job applications.
Preview to the Job Posting
Review your job posting and either select “Go Back” to continue editing or “Post this Job” to submit the Job the Talent Community Administrator’s for approval.
Once your job posting has been approved you will receive an email to confirm it is live in the Talent Community.
